What do the examiners look for

Examiners look out for particular points you’ve made so they can give you marks.  So help yourself achieve the maximum points available by helping the Examiner and presenting your work legibly and in an organised way.

Common faults

Some marks are lost by:

  • Not following the instructions  in the questions
  • Writing without reference to the module material
  • Not allocating time appropriately between questions

That is why past papers are a valuable tool when it comes to identifying these common pitfall areas.  Take a moment to read Gayle’s latest article in the TC News October edition as she delves a bit deeper into what the Examiners are looking for.
