AF8 is not what you would expect if you are comparing it to other CII AF exams. Instead of sitting a 3 hour written paper you will be tackling three assignments over a 12 month period. The pass rate for this exam is currently 76% and successful completion is where you obtain a minimum of 50% of the available marks for all three assignments.

As with our all study plans we highly recommend the plan and prepare method. Whilst you have a 12 month timescale to submit your assignments you need to ensure that you factor in time (and costs) for any re-sits!!

  • Assignment 1 – this needs to be submitted within 6 months of your enrolment
  • Assignment 2 – this needs to be submitted within 9 months of your enrolment
  • Assignment 3 – this needs to be submitted (including any re-submissions) within 12 months of your enrolment.

The rules around this exam are clear and precise – no room for phone a friend, 50/50 or ask the audience(!!) All work submitted for marking should be your own original work.
