Michael Pashley has been sharing some all important last minute study tips to take you into the exam and across those goal posts:

PCIAM candidates, remember – Tackle section A first (easiest), then section C (middle), then finally section B (hardest). Remember to critically analyse and critically evaluate using your S/A/E paragraph structure. Remember to use contemporary examples to evidence your points where possible (sections B and C).

PETR candidates, remember – you are Nigel and Julie’s adviser. You are writing their suitability report. You are answering as if in direct conversation/correspondence with them. Remember to critically analyse and critically evaluate using your S/A/E paragraph structure. In your evaluation, ALWAYS link it back to the case study; how does your point relate to Nigel and Julie’s needs, wants, and wishes?

MANI candidates, remember – you have three hours to secure a maximum 75 marks. You can’t get these just for knowledge-dumping with bullet-points. You need structured critical analysis. Answer the questions using your S/A/E structure. Make your point (statement). Then give the technical (analysis). Then explain how it affects clients (evaluation). Remember to use contemporary examples to evidence your points where possible.

Good luck everyone!
