How is everyone finding memorizing the sufficient ties in detail, and does anyone think we will need it for the exam?

Cara, I’ve not got a scooby! At this point I am lucky to be able to remember the automatic and non automatic rules.

My opinion is knowing the automatic tests, sufficient ties and the various tax treatment of the different combinations will suffice to get a pass mark on that question. They can’t realistically expect people to know the number of ties + days in UK table, and even if you don’t you should be able to get some marks regardless.
