CII R01 Financial Services, Regulation & Ethics
The R01 Financial Services, Regulations and Ethics exam was developed by the CII to provide paraplanners, technical consultants and those in financial planning support roles with an understanding of the regulations, legislation and ethics within financial services. R01 is a core unit for the CII RQF level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Upon successful completion of R01 students are awarded 20 credits from the CII.

R01 exam dates:
Candidates are now able to sit the multiple-choice question (MCQ) exams, via ‘Remote Invigilation’ or at an exam centre by booking their preferred date via the CII website.

What areas does the R01 exam cover?
R01 develops your knowledge and understanding of the financial services profession, including regulation, legislation and the code of ethics.
What is the exam structure?
It is a 2 hour exam with 100 multiple choice questions. The nominal pass mark is 65%.
