Hi Graeme
I sat it today and would agree, it was a reasonable paper with nothing completely out of left field. The bits about cash flow modelling threw me a little, but nothing major. I have sat and passed AF4 (and AF6) myself previously, but can safely say it was easier using the structured content that EP were able to provide us with. No complaints at all for the price.

The question on paying off the mortgage assuming it remained interest threw me off a bit but I used the examples from factfind analysis. John is spot on with ‘doing the doing’ as you can get far too focused on the technicalities of what could come up.
Lets hope the exam gods are with us and 2nd June is day of celebrating getting chartered.

See you soon.
Grahame HopperParticipantDecember 18, 2019 at 4:28 pmPost count: 23For those of you that sat AF5 today, how did you find it?
I thought it was another fair exam paper, no real curve balls.
The Expert Pensions AF1 structured course and the AF5 fact find analysis were brilliant.
Without either, I would have been nowhere near the level required or be in a position to pass either of the AF exams.
A Massive thanks to Tessa, John and the Expert Pensions team.
Roll on 2nd June!
